2023 Summary

June 2023

Sat/Sun (Jun 10/11) a fun weekend lure coursing for the kids. Syn takes 1st in the open stakes both days to pick up her first 3 FC points and earns her Senior Courser title. Sachmo takes 1st place in the veteran stakes on Sat for 2 more points and Skye takes 1st place in the vet stakes on Sun for 2 more pts towards her LCX. Both Ivy and River got to earn their JC titles and ran beautifully Sat/Sun.

Fri/Sat (Apr 14/15) we made the drive down to S CA for our PHCA Western/Independent Specialties along with a supported entry hound show. In the AM specialty Syn takes SB in a lovely entry of PHs (9-9)-(11-7). In the PM specialty, Stormy came out of retirement to strut her stuff and she goes BOS from the veteran class! River also got an AOM. On Sat at the supported entry day, Syn takes BOS and looked beautiful. Ivy was 2nd her a large open bitch class all 3 shows. River made the bitch cut all 3 shows as well. It was nice to see all my girls in the ribbons with such a large entry of PHs.

Sat/Sun (Mar 25/26) was a nice first weekend out for Syn and Ivy. In counts of (0-4)-(1-2) Syn takes BOB for 5 more pts towards her GCh silver and Ivy was RWB to the major. Stormy's other daughter, Devi, was WB for her 1st 3 pt major (just one for to finish her Ch!). On Sun, Ivy was again RWB.
