2020 Summary

December 2020

Show season is a wrap and official rankings came out showing Stormy finishing as the #1 Pharaoh Hound in the country (breed points) and #2 Pharaoh Hound (all-breed). Very proud of her!
Fri/Sat (Dec 4/5) Stormy takes back to back BOB wins down in Dallas, TX for 10 more points towards her GCh gold and picks up 18 breed points.

Thurs - Sun (Nov 19-22) Stormy sweeps BOB down in Corning, CA for 9 more points towards her GCh gold and makes the cut in group under Barbara Dempsey Alderman.
Sun (Nov 15) Stormy takes SB for 2 more points towards her GCh gold.

Sat (Oct 31) in Coeur d'Alane, ID Stormy takes back to back BOB wins for 4 more points towards her GCh Gold and Skye takes back to back SB wins for 2 more points towards her GCh silver.
After an 8 month hiatus due to shows being cancelled because of Covid and then maternity leave for the two girls we attended our first show Sat/Sun (Oct 24/25) in Vancouver, WA. Stormy took back to back BOB wins in entries of (1-3)-(2-3) for 10 more pts towards her Gold GCh, 16 more breed points, and then went on to win back to back Hound Group 1s under Ken Murray and David Miller. What a way to come back to the shows and just 14 weeks post whelp! So incredibly proud of her.

Sat/Sun (Sept 5/6) Stormy and Sachmo competed in the first LGRA trial since everything has been shut down. Stormy took back to back BOB wins for 2 more pts towards her SGCR and Sachmo was BOS both days. Stormy was just 8 weeks post whelp and looked fabulous and ran beautifully.

Sat/Sun (Feb 21/22) the girls have a good weekend down in Albany, OR in entries of (1-3)-(1-3) with Stormy taking BOB on Sat and Skye BOB on Sun; each girl getting SB on the subsequent day to pick up 9 more pts towards their Gold and Silver GCh titles.
Sun (Feb 2nd) Stormy takes BOB again down in Fresno, CA for another 4 pts towards her Gold GCh! Nice weekend for her.
Sat (Feb 1st) Stormy takes BOB down in Fresno, CA for 4 more pts towards her Gold GCh and then gets a nice group 4 under Eva Berg!

Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun (Jan 16/17/18/19) down in Portland, OR at the Rose City Classic, Stormy takes BOB 3 out of 4 days in entries of 9, 9 and 11 and SB one day to pick up another 26 breed points (solidly placing her as the #1 PH for the first month of the year) and she earns her Silver Grand Champion title (in just 3 months!!). She then makes the cut in two very competition hound groups under Christine Erickson and Patti Widick Neale.
Sat/Sun (Jan 11/12) in Puyallup, WA entries of (0-3)-(1-3) on Sat and (0-4)-(1-3) on Sun Stormy is SB on Sat and BOB on Sun for 9 more points towards her Silver GCh (just 15 more to go!) and Skye is BOS on Sat for 5 more points towards her Silver. Nice weekend for both girls.
Fri/Sat/Sun (Jan 3/4/5) - First show weekend of the year saw us down in Palm Springs, CA where Stormy had a phenomenal weekend sweeping BOB in entries of 9, 11 and 10 where she picked up 28 breed points and 15 pts towards her Silver GCh, just 24 more to go! Skye took SB on Sat to earn 3 more points towards her Silver GCh too! What a wonderful weekend for the girls.
